XServer help in Slackware 9.0


I can start X, but when i do, all input is disabled. After so long, the screensaver comes on, but no matter what i do, the system wont take any input. i got ATI Radeon 9700 Pro.

your devices arnt properly configured for X (obviously). did u run xf86config, or anything fo the sort, theres a few installed apps on slack that do the same thing. the keyboard is just the default 101. To configure the mosue run 'mouseconfig' then make the appropriate choice for your mouse...then choose the same one when u configure X. if u have a ps2 mouse, choose IMPS2 in during X config.

i fixed it, i guess it was the refresh rate being too low for my monitor. i just changed that to 65 and it started working. Thanks for the help.
