xmms skins


I downloaded some skins for xmms in tar.gz format.
How should I install or config xmms to apply those skins as and when
I click the name(like in winamp).

Expecting ur help ....

hey..

1- To install the skins,

You have a .xmms folder in your home dir, just go the:

.xmms --> Skins --> 'unpack here your skins'



Than:


2- you have to go:

(or alt + S )

options --> skin browser

than you will be at the skin selector


then you can select wich one you prefer, or 'select randon skin'

you don't need to actually unpack anything in regards to xmms skins. another alternative directory to install skins into that makes them globally accessible to all users is
/usr/share/xmms/Skins. if Skins doesn't exist, you can create it and it will work.

oh yeah, if you didn't know, you can use your classic winamp skins.
