Question Xfce 4.2 on Vector hangs after "startxfce4"

I have Vector SOHO 5.0, and I installed Xfce with the (oscillation) Installer.

The installation goes fine, but when I select XFCE from the sessions menu at the login prompt, or do a console login and run "startxfce4", I see the blinking xfce mouse mascot and the spinning "busy" cursor for about 10 seconds before I get kicked out to the console. I've had no other xwindows problems and kde, ice, and flux all work fine (still).

My Xorg.0.org is shown below, in two posts because it's too long for one. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

I know its not good etiquette to bumb a thread like this. My problem seems to be the same as yours. I would like to know if you fixed this.
Also,...I've posted this problem in a thread at the ATI forums and you might be interested to follow it or add to it.

http://www.rage3d.com/board/showthre...post1333517807

I've been trying to fix this problem for over a week now with only dead-ends.
I hope you see this response because I am having great difficulty finding any information on this.

Actually I gave up and am using fluxbox. Later on I actually reinstalled with VL 4.3 standard, which includes xfce 4.0. Sorry I wasn't of more help!
