Hi everbody,
I would like to use dvdstyler to author my dvds. The Problem is, that dvdstyler doesn't render the text right. Which means: if I enter a text box only the first few characters are displayed left of and in the red box border. I tested it with several fonts and serveral sizes. The effect remains the same.
I tracked it down to wxsvg which renders the text, right? wxsvg uses cairo by default for rendering. So I tried to switched to libart and afterwards to agg.
With libarts the text renders fine but dvdstyler crashes with a segmentation fault at the beginning of encoding the disk.
With agg wxsvg won't compile.
Here is what I did: I compiled different versions of wxsvg (1.1.5 and 1.1.8) and dvdstyler (2.1 and 2.2) the effect is the same.
Compiling wxsvg:
Code:
./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-render=cairo|libart|aag
make
make install
Compiling dvdstyler:
Code:
sed -i 's/vsink_buffer.h/buffersink.h/' src/mediatrc_ffmpeg.cpp
./configure --prefix=/usr
sed -i 's/libwxvilla.a/libwxvilla.a \/usr\/lib\/libjpeg.so.8/' src/Makefile
make
make install
(the sed lines are from the default pkgbuild which must remain to compile fine)
Or in short: does anybody know how to get dvdstyler working?
Im using archlinux with gnome 3.4.
Any recommendations?
