wxpython problems

I'm using Chakra-project linux. I am currently in the process of trying to install dispcalGUI. One of the dependancies is wxpython.

Unfortunately when building wxpython I get the following error:

Quote:
checking for OpenGL headers... found in /usr/include
checking for GL/gl.h... yes
checking GL/glu.h usability... yes
checking GL/glu.h presence... yes
checking for GL/glu.h... yes
checking for -lGL... no
checking for -lMesaGL... no
configure: error: OpenGL libraries not available
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().
Aborting...
The build failed.
1. Can somebody interpret this for me. I understood this to mean that I would have to install libgl. However I installed libgl and this error still appears. I also have mesa installed.

2. libgl and nvidia-utils conflict. Is there a way to get around this problem assuming that it is libgl I actually need to get rid of this problem.

Thanks.
