i installed pclos on this laptop (dell inspiron 1545) and everything was working fine until i did the update in synaptic. after it got done the wireless network card doesnt work at all, it wont pick up a single network. And running iwlist scan gives me

lo Interface doesn't support scanning.

eth0 Interface doesn't support scanning.

eth1 Failed to read scan data : Invalid argument

i tried setting the ssid and key with iwconfig, but nothing changed, it all stayed blank like id never typed a command in.

ive been googling the crap out of this problem. It seams i'm not the only one with this problem. but no answers yet. My network card is a broadcom BCM4312 on a dell inspiron 1545.

If the update included some kernel updates, you probably need to re-install/update this driver as well.
