I just installed wine and winetools. I went and run winecfg to setup wine so I can use it. But I am getting this message appearing, and I am not sure where to go with it as I haven't seen it before.
Quote:
flebber@linux-a7y3:~> winecfg
wine: creating configuration directory '/home/flebber/.wine'...
ln: target `/home/flebber/.wine-zfh8Jx/dosdevices/d:' is not a directory
wine: wineprefixcreate failed while creating '/home/flebber/.wine'.
flebber@linux-a7y3:~>
So I went to remove ~/.wine but it did not exist. So I ran winecfg again and it worked. Except that whilst winecfg worked I still can't use wine if I right click on an *.exe file it does not give me an option to open with wine or if I use command line " wine *.exe " it says module not found. Any ideas ?
