Wine/Xwine Set-up

I Would really appreciate some help with these pieces of software.

I have installed Wine and the Xwine interface. No problems there. I have inserted a Windows game CD. Opened it from the desktop and installed it, or so I think. It is not listed anywhere in Xwine.

I insert the CD-Rom and try to run the autoloader and it asks me to insert the disk!

So, I cannot see the installed program in Xwine's menu and the Cd-Rom isn't recognised by Wine. For the record, my CDRom is known to the system as /dev/hdd.

Any help chaps?
