Wine Probs and LPT

hi, Just started using redhat and thought I would check out wine so i could use some windows development programs.

they are not complicated and run fine apart from they need to use the LPT1 port. unfortantly they cant access the port and the error keeps popping up.

how can i fiddle this so it works ?

perhaps there is a another (open source) program availible that can do the job as well?

thanks PAul
