wine and command and conquer - cdrom not found??

Hello!

I found that good old Command and Conquer Gold has been reported working under linux, so I thought I'd better give it a try:

I have two cdrom-drives. Inserted the cd, and <right click>--><run with wine> on setup.exe.

I get this error

image of error

I was really disappointed... seems wine can't find the files on the cd...

Anyone?

cheers,
Mats Taraldsvik

Try running from the terminal instead. It gives a better output of error messages. Open a terminal and type:

wine /path_to_cdrom/setup.exe

and post the error messages from the terminal, if any
