why my web server is getting down automatically?


i am facing problem with my appache webserver which is installed on fedora 6. the problem is that the prosess is automatically killing after some time as the enduser is trying to login by entering itz credentials. and on the server the error comes "Write failed -2509"
please tell watz the problem ?

Have you looked at your webserver logs and system logs to see if they reveal any problems?

Sir,
Today again in morning my webserver goes down automatically...i went on the server screen and found one message .....Write failed-2409
write failed-2518
.
.
Write failed-2678
Sir, i am guessing that might be my logfiles capacity is overflooded but please kindly suggest me the wayay to see my logfiles as i have already checked in
syslog files but i want to know that the webserver logs are also stored over there or smwhere else also.except
/var/log/

You should look first at /var/log/messages
The webserver logs are in /var/log/httpd/
