Unhappy Why cant qtparted get executed?


An error occured while launching qtparted

Could not launch menu item
Failed to execute child processv "qtparted-root"(No such file or directory)

I had installed just before , while launching , this occured
Why is it so , my status of installed had given success !!!!

#sudo apt-get check

then try to reconfigure that with dpkg

How did you install it?

I suggest that you treat qtparted as a broken package and try to fix it. To do that start the synaptic program. In synaptic search for qtparted. When you find the qtparted package click on the green box to the left of qtparted.

Then click on Edit -> Fix Broken Packages

If qtparted is installed wrong then Fix Broken Packages should fix the problem.

Cool Thanks all of my friends !!

I installed thru synaptic manager
But smehw it contains broken packages
Guru i've done it
Nw it works
