whining about wine....

how in the world do you get wine to install to redhat 9....
I think I have it installed...then nothing works....I can't even find that it did anything.....someone know whats going on?

What have you tried? How did you install it?

I clicked on the package...aparently this installed something......b/c then I tried to run rpm -i in the terminal....and it said everything was installed allready
but I can't open anything

Have you read any documentation?
Usually when I use wine for some program, I open a terminal, cd to the dir containing program, and do:

wine programname

what does that give you?
