Question which p2p actually uses the same network as Kazaa?

From searching around here it looks like a lot of people have chosen to install WINE and run kazaa from there. is this because there is no program in linux that can access that network??

correct me if i'm wrong, but i hear that kazaa has *way* more files than say the gnutella network. i'd really like to be able to get on that particular one if possible. my girlfriend has limewire on her mac and i don't like it too much.

now, i'm not looking for a nice GUI. that's not to say i *want* a crappy one, just that it isn't important. what's important is that it uses the kazaa network.

i am trying to stay WINE free. i don't know why, it's just a thing.

and i'm committed to learning linux, so i don't mind if it takes some configuration to get onto that network or whatever.

thanks in advance to everyone!

imo screw kazaa
no but seriously you can jump on one hub on direct connect and have access to hundreds of terabytes of data
p.s. --> 1 terabyte = 1000 gigabytes
oh and also you can connect to multiple hubs at the same type and have access to petabytes of data
p.s. --> 1 petabyte = 1000 terabytes

but if that doesn't suit you, you can always search through the different p2p programs available from numerious sources, a couple of places would be:
sourceforge.net
freshmeat.net
zeropaid.com
just to name a couple...
