Where Is The Gnome Desktop Folder?


HELLO ALL... .... IM FINDING THAT GNOME RUNS MORE FASTER (AT LEAST ON MY BOX) THAN KDE........SO IM INSTALLING A FEW PROGRAMS BUT I WANNA SAVE THEM IN MY GNOME DESKTOP........ I GET A LITTLE CONFUSED WITH THE DIRECTORY STRUCTURES AND GET LOST SOMETIMES.... CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHERE THE GNOME DESKTOP FOLDER IS AT... JUST FOR QUICK ACCESS.... THANKS I APPRICIATE IT............ ONE MORE QUESTION ........ IF I INSTALL A PROGRAM ON KDE AND RUN GNOME..IS THAT PROGRAM GONNA BE IN THE APPLICATIONS PANEL?.... THANKS AGAIN

How about you type correctly? Doesn't hurt anyone to use decent netiquette

Presumably you mean ~/.gnome-desktop

JEZ' CHRIST **Ahem**........ For the last 8 Yrs I been using my pc...... I get the same crap........ "CAPS THIS CAPS THAT! ...TAKE IF OFF!"............I just wanna know......... Whats wrong with it?!??!?!!?........I KEEP MY CAPS ON ALL THE TIME..... I THINK WE'RE FREE HAVE OUR OWN STYLE AT LEAST.......... IDK WHY IT BOTHERS PEOPLE I REALLY DONT. I JUST CAME ON HERE FOR A FEW QUESTIONS.. WHY DO PEOPLE HAVE TO ATTACK SOMEONE ALL THE TIME?? ......... Well.......... Sorry But I Just use caps all the time...........
