Where are the plugins

Hello,

I am running dreamlinux (XFCE) that is built on Lenny. Recently, I've installed some panel plugins ( verve-plugin, the weather plugin, system-load plugin, notes-plugin, netload-plugin, sensors-plugin and the goodies package) through synaptics but none of them show in the panel's “add new item” menu. So I cannot add them to the panel. Could anyone suggest me what's going on here?

Thanks,
jmak

Hi trashbird12,

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I've rebooted sevral times since. But that didn't solve the problem. Otherwise, all the installed plugins, are sitting neatly in the /usr/lib directory; the only thing is that they don't appear in the add new item menu.
