I am trying to free up some space on my root partition, and I would like to remove the installation CD's. I unselected them as sources in control center, but I don't know where they are on the disk. How do I remove these and free up the space they currently occupy? Thanks.

During the installation it asked me if I wanted to copy the CD's to the disk, and I said yes. Are these removed after the installation? I have a 5GB root partition, and less than 700MB are left. Thanks for the help.
I'm not familiar with Mandriva, but if the "copy to hard drive" step actually copies the CD image to your hard drive, then you would be able to locate it based on its size. Just do a search for all files with a size of at least 100Mg or some similar large value. Presumably the file name would make it obvious that it's the CD image. That's just a guess though, as I say I'm not familiar with Mandriva
