where are elf files of the in-built applications of fedora 8?


in fedora 8 thr are many games tht hav cum with it
but can someone tell me where the elf of those games are located

i also tried to install a new game tht i downloaded from the net
when i installed them, the link to open it appeared in applications->games alongwith the other in-built games.

however i cant locate the path where the elf of that game.

all i want to do is run the application from the dir whr the elf is located

rpm -ql gnome-games | grep bin
should show most of them. Otherwise look at the launcher properties to see the name of the command, then search it using which command-name.

BTW that's an atrocious sentence ;-p And not only because you managed to crosspost your first thread on LQ or because Fedora 8 is deprecated, unmaintained (and therefore vulnerable)... F12 is in the wings so F11 is current at this moment.

I would install Fedora 11
Fedora 8 is ( and HAS BEEN ) unsupported for a while

There are and NEVER will be any updates to it ever .
