what make of HP is it, probook elitebook etc. ??? I'm using an elitebook 6930p with Linux On it np, but not all elitebooks did that for me. just wondering which one is giving you problems. make model

Mine runs great T9550 4GB ram Void linux I dont even touch my swap drive and just watch movies, re-sampling mp3s and movies serff net without problems... the casing it top notch too. just a suggestion. the only hp I had problems installing linux is the eletebook 2730p they too have that crap HDD 1.8 " not standard HDD
oh yeah -- on mine I call pull the DVD and add another HDD I am running 2 1TB hdds.
