What to do with a .run file?

Well, I'm talking about apollon-dist-0.3.run
I tried to compile Gift and Apollon from shell and all worked nice and well, but after the installation of apollon something must have been gone wrong.
I get no errors though...

Anyway, I got myself the .run file frm the apollon sourceforge website, but.. I'm still in that n00b function :P

I tried to open it in a terminal but whatever I tried, nothing worked

Have you tried 'sh apollon-dist-0.3.run'? Or, if that doesnt work, try './apollon-dist-0.3.run'
