What is a easy to configure ftp server?

I am looking for an easy to configure, possibly gui interface, it is only for me to upload and download a few things to my server so it doesn't need to be powerful.

I am running Slackware 9.0 with Gnome as my windows.

An alternative is to use SCP through port 22(SSH). In linux type man scp for usage.

Using SSH also gives you remote access to your box, and allows you to upload download files through the SSH tunnel.

Search google for WinSCP2.exe very nice interface but is for windows (assuming you'll be on a windows box when access your computer remotely).

are there windows apps that can connect to sftp?
i have been doing it command line but i would like to speed up the process.

If its an actual FTP server, any Windows based FTP clients should be able to work in connecting, downloading/uploading.. and etc.

i meant the SSH tunnel
currently i use psftp to transfer files through SSH but it is text based and i have to do a lot of typing, is there graphical program that will connect that way?
