What easy (frontpage like) editor.....


Im coming from Windows as many are and I used to use Frontpage to develop web pages. What is out there that is similar, but for linux????

Probably the only thing that comes close would be Bluefish or Quanta. But they do lack a WYSIWYG type interface where you build the webpage by viewing it like you would in Frontpage or Dreamweaver.

I haven't used any web-authoring tools
(unless you consider emacs or epm one :})
but there's for instance amaya ...

Agreed. It's unlikely you'll be comfortable with Bluefish or Quanta if you've always used the wysiwyg functionality of FP. It may be a good time to get friendly with the code though - it's really not that bad, honest!
