I didn't find any process called sendmail, and in /etc/rc.d/rc.sendmail it has no execution attribute. What is registering these lines? It's normal? Does it consume processing?
root sent an email to root on April 29 at 9:30 pm. This failed because no MTA is listening on this computer.
"sendmail" was only launched to deliver this email. It consumed a few CPU cycles at that moment, but not anymore.
I suppose you have an ill-configured mail server on this system.
It is the Zabbix server, and it uses another email server of its own. How do I disable these records? Every hour, two sendmail records appear in maillog, and I have not identified any senmail processes being executed.
