What DJ apps are there

I've been listening to 2 many DJs recently and would like to give that style of music a go. Which Programs will give me the sort of things i will need to mix 2 tracks ( i.e. pitch changing, tempo changing etc.)

thanks in advance

Hey deathalele. The best program I can think of for that on Linux would be Audacity. It's free, and open source. You can find it here:

Code:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net
Hope that helps

That looks good for creating a finished version, I was wondering if you knew of anything more interactive, i.e. changing speed in the app on the fly etc.

TerminatorX or something like that was supposed to be DJ-ish. And tons of editing tools to do things in advance.

http://ccrma.stanford.edu/

that one lists a lot of music links/software. Used to list a bunch more linux-ish stuff. Although not specifically DJ stuff. There's a lot of real time synthesizer stuff. As real time as the latency of a computer can be.

that one to find specific packages.

More real time DJ would be Mixxx... it sounds exactly like what you're looking for!
