Hi Dreamer123!

Welcome to LinuxQuestions. What distribution are you using? Which version of Webmin did you download (source or rpm)? Which commands are you running to get it installed and last, is your distribution officially supported by webmin? You can check if it is here:

http://www.webmin.com/support.html

Since I'm running SuSE and it's a rpm based distribution, I've got this package:

http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/w...0-1.noarch.rpm

and installed as usual:

rpm -U webmin-1.160-1.noarch.rpm

Good luck!

I'm not sure which package you are actually missing . But take a look into Slackware's homepage. They've got plenty of mirrors with older Slackware's releases. Most likely you will find the package you seek in there.

It's also possible to convert an rpm to a Slackware native package (.tgz) by using rpm2tgz or Alien. But I don't think that should be necessary since Slackware 8.1 is supported... it's just a matter to figure the package you are missing...

Sorry that I can not offer more help

Regards!
