VMWare on Mandriva

Has anyone gotten this to work? I keep getting problem after problem, usually related to glibc giving invalid pointer addresses. Searching google didn't really find anything except other people with the same unresolved problem

When is this error occuring exactly?

Are you using the RPM version of VMware? You better use the installation binary from vmware.com... You will need gcc and some development tools to install but this should work on any distro

Occurs at startup, I used RPM version of several different VMWare versions. Also, it had to build the driver from the source, which worked fine. When I run vmware, it shows the app and the "tips" window but everything is frozen and the pointer error is displayed in the console.
