Vitualbox-no Full screen

Hey LQ,

I have a problem with my VirtualBox and WindowsXP.
I want to switch to Full screen so that it seems like I'm running windows XP on my Laptop. But if I Press Ctrl+F then I still see my Gnome Taskbar. What can I do to change that?

Thanks for helping

If you right click on the Panel (taskbar) and choose properties you will see a property for "show hide button" - if you check this box then you will get buttons on either end of your panel. Clicking one will shrink the panel off the side of the screen so all you will see is a button.

Not quite completely removed but surely close enough.

Thanks for the tip.
I was just wondering because before I reinstalled Linux because I wiped out my whole Harddisc it was working without any problems.
