Virtualbox on OpenSuse 10.2 not loading driver.

I have a 2 week old OpenSuse 10.2 install. I'm trying to get VirtualBox running and install windows xp in a vm. I've tried both the from-scratch setup and the rpm available from opensuse's virtualization repository (Currently I have the latter installed). They both complain about the kernel driver not being loaded. The specific error says:

runnin modprobe vboxdrv spits out the following error:

FATAL: Error inserting vboxdrv (/lib/modules/2.6.18.2-34-default/updates/vboxdrv.ko): Invalid argument

insmod also fails with:

insmod: error inserting '/lib/modules/2.6.18.2-34-default/updates/vboxdrv.ko': -1 Invalid parameters

So now I'm stuck. I've used linux for a year on and off and I have no real idea on where to go next with my troubleshooting. Any help would be appreciated.

never used VirtualBox
I use VMware there is a free server on their site works great I have several copies installed and access virtual machines on my server from my laptop

if you can't get VirtualBox working I really recommend giving VMware a try
