Question vim : i wanna open several files using tabs at the same time


i tried:

$ vim *.c

/////

this way, vim opens all .c files in the current dir, but it put all files other than one into backgroud buffers.

all i want is that all .c files r opened in seperate tabs.

i totally have no idea.

could any body give me a hand.

vim -p *.c

I did not know you could do this. This could be handy but how do you switch between the tabs?

Hi.

u could user commands such as: gt , :tabn , :tabp , :tablast, :tabfirst,
:tabN (N is a numerical number coded for tabs from 0, e.g.: tabm2 moves to the 3rd tab)
