veritas remote agent


I am running SLES9 SP3 OES2. I am having trouble with beremote stopping during a backup. Has anyone ran into this and is there a way to fix it.

Any help would be greatful

the agent is on the SLES system, and the backing up server is windows, right?

check firewalls, (port 10000 especially)

Sorry I should have put that in my post. That is correct the agent is on SLES 9 SP3 with OES2 and the backing up server is a Windows 2000 Server box.
