I running Kubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn with KDE 3.5. I'd like to use Hibernate but the last time I tried it, it turned my computer into a door stop. Couldn't get out of it to save my life. Couldn't even get into the BIOS to reinstall. Is there a way to configure or check to see if it'll work properly? Asked this question on the Kubuntu forum but nobody seemed to know. Thanks.

The BIOS setup starts before even a disk is read. So if you can't enter the BIOS setup, you might fear a hardware problem. If you had a "press <DEL> to enter setup" message before, you should have it now.
