If you're using a Debian based linux, just do apt-get install apache2.

How you do it depends on which distro you use. You show "linux" as your distro which is obviously wrong as there is no distro called "linux".

Different package managers, different repositories, source based, rpm based, debian based, etc... Provide some details.

Moved: This thread is more suitable in Linux-Software and has been moved accordingly to help your thread/question get the exposure it deserves.

The upgrade is very distribution-dependant. Check if there are packages with 2.x for your distribution - you should be able to find them easily. When you have them, just install. Then move your data, probably also configs (after changes!) and it's done.
