upgrade mysql 5.0 to mysql 5.1

Hi to all members,

Please can you help me in my problem that is
I use fedora 9 and I try to install mysql 5.1 by yum "yum install package-version" but all efforts is failed.
and please how to upgrade mysql version 5.0 to mysql version 5.1could you please help me if you know the steps in a simple way?
