Upgrade Kernel the easy way ??

Hi, everybody.

I have 2 Linux boxs runnning RH7. I wonder if there are the easy way to upgrade to RH7.1 and kernel 2.4.x..

I tried update kernel*.rpm using rpm -Uvh and ivh) but then it required update kudzu. kudzu again required update Xconfigurator and XFrre86... seem to be a very cumbersome cycle. I don't know if it is the right way to go ???

(I also tried to compile before but my box is too slow (P166) and new kernel seem not to run.)

Any suggests ??

Thank a lots.

Hungnc.
