Good evening folks,

I had MPlayer .90 (i think it was)... updated to the newest 1.04 - now it doesn't work. I updated to get the mencoder - I didn't have it before, I am guessing it was not part of .90 -So... now I have it, but in trying to start MPlayer, GMPlayer, or MEncoder, I get an error saying condecs.conf file is missing.

I installed the codecs before I "./configure make make install" like instructed.,...

advice? can someone email me their codecs.conf file and I could copy/paste where it needs to go?

I still use .090 version and I have the mencoder, you must not
have compiled the win32 codecs into mplayer properly!!
