Question update problem

Hi one of all
Recently i installed fc12 in my system yesterday night i click the security update belon today mornig i restarted my system but i didnt get loging promt.
i got this error
could not update ICEauthority file /var/lib/gdm/.authority
what shall i do plese guide me....
thanks for advance

Did you disabled the SELinux?

yes i disabled SELinux but i cont work....

Can you login doing "CTRL+ALT+F1" ?
