Well, i have installed linux Mandrake 9.1 using the method "use Windoze free space" and now i wanna know how to uninstall it, cuz im needing the space of my hd that is occuping Linux... thx...
/fdisk i think....this is what I did what mandrake (i think this only works with winxp parition)....go into installation from boot......click on the options u normally would choose for installing...then when it reaches to hard drive parition...just select the linux parition, and click delete, then select the swap partition, and click delete, once done, apply the changes, after that, there should be an error saying no linux partition or something....juss shutdown your comp after that...then press the power button, insert the winxp boot cd, and click Repair, and after that, type in:
fixboot
after that, type in:
fixmbr
then juss type exit and reboot....
you could use partition magic,...much more simplier....i dunn00..this method might not work...never hurts to try...back up any data in case...this method works for me everytime 100%....now im using RedHat 9, and lovin it...lol
if you use partition magic make sure that you wipe everything using winows ans on reboot, get to recovery console and do the fixboot and fixmbr thing, then restart and ur back in windows, but make sure you read enough help about partition magic before proceeding.
