Try 'locate amsn'
That should give you a list of all the locations with amsn in the file path.
All the amsn files are stored in a single folder (I believe it 's /opt/amsn-x.xx by default). Just remove that folder. The actual amsn program may be linked to a folder in your $PATH, so do:
rm `which amsn` (those are " ` " not " ' ") as root and that should remove the link, if there is one.
After that you can just run the new installer.
