Undeleting Files

I recently had a buggy program delete the contents of my home folder. I'd _really_ like to get those files back. The system is Debian running on the EXT3 filesystem. All the files I need are in one folder. Any help would be appreciated and the sooner the better!!

I ran into a similar problem like this before on the same type of filesystem. I never found a solution. I don't think there is any hope either. I'm sorry.
