Uncompiling xine-lib?

Is it possible to uncompile xine-lib or uninstall it? The reason I did this is because I ./configure make install'ed xine-lib v 0.9.8 but then the front end I wanted to use needed xine-lib 1 beta x so I ./configure'd and make install'ed xine-lib 1 beta 12. Now I don't have a clue as to what version I have and kxine and oxine can't find a version 0.9.9 or higher of xine-lib. I think I messed it up.

Go where you had the program source (where you did ./configure, make and make install) and type

Code:
make uninstall
