I am using a linux from scratch distro......and when upgrading pulseaudio from 13.0 to 16.1 I try to recompile alsa-plugins and get the following error:
Code:
/bin/grep: /usr/lib/pulseaudio/libpulsecommon-13.0.la: No such file or directory
/bin/sed: can't read /usr/lib/pulseaudio/libpulsecommon-13.0.la: No such file or directory
libtool: error: '/usr/lib/pulseaudio/libpulsecommon-13.0.la' is not a valid libtool archive
make[2]: *** [Makefile:534: libasound_module_conf_pulse.la] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory '/sources/alsa-plugins-1.2.7.1/pulse'
make[1]: *** [Makefile:443: all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory '/sources/alsa-plugins-1.2.7.1'
make: *** [Makefile:375: all] Error 2
Why is it still looking for an old library? shouldnt it be looking for 16.1?
This is driving me crazy, I can upgrade my other packages just fine but whatever the reason this one is stubborn.
