ual boot machine with server 2000 and RH 8.0

Hi, I have a dual boot machine with server 2000 and RH 8.0 on it. I would like to delete all of RH 8.0 off of it without disturbing the server 2000 portion on my machine. Can some one please help me with the step by step directions on how to do this. I would greatly appreciate it.

After it is off my machine I want to upgrade to FC5.

Thanks!!!

You could use:
dd if=/dev/random of=/dev/hdXY (hdXY is the unmounted RH partition to overwrite with random bits). So, it RH is on partition hda6, you would give the command: dd if=/dev/random of=/dev/hda6.

or

dd if=/dev/null of=/dev/hdXY to overwrite the partition with nothing.

In both of the above, the partition table as stored in the MBR is not touched. You just clear the partition for something else to be written there.
