Tweet Adder Linux

Any chance someone on here uses Tweet Adder in Linux, either the linux version or the Windows version in wine/crossover?
I installed both versions but both have seperate issue.
Linux version closes when I try to "login" imediately after start. All dependencies are satisfied & my system far exceeds the system requirements.
In the Windows version (installed using crossover), I can open & run it fine until I try to turn on the account. It gives a message that the account cannot be logged in & tells me to check my proxy settings (which I have & they are correct) & to disable "always use https" in twitter settings. Again, did that. So I do not see the problem.
If anyone can help I would be grateful. Dont really care which version I get working properly as long as 1 works.
