Tumbleweed with previous /home -> no graphical login
I installed openSUSE Tumbleweed after repartitioning. Previously I had saved my old 13.2/home. After I moved that in place of the newly installed tumbleweed/home graphical login is impossible (login screen blackens for a moment and then returns). What could cause this?
There's been a few times where if the user ID changes or some settings change when I have trouble logging in with a home directory made in another Linux distro, although 13.2 and Tumbleweed got along fine for me. It might be easier to make a new home directory on the /home partition for the new installation and copy the files over.

Yeah, but I wanted to avoid typing (or clicking) thousends of times <y> (or <okay>) to overwrite -- so I moved the whole /home/me directory and overwrote the original, never suspecting trouble. Ah, well, if need be I'll install again (probably 13.2 with its original /home and then upgrade).

Ups, I was in a hurry and started the re-installation without testing your last suggestion, sorry. Thank you for your input, wagscat123, I guess this thread's problem can't be solved anymore *sigh*. Mea culpa, mea maxima culpa .
