Hi,

I installed openoffice2 with these use flags in fvwm:

Whenever I open my first document in open office, it works perfectly IF i first spawn openoffice as "ooffice2", it opens up and looks correct. If i open a second document by going to file->open, and then select another document, a second window pops up with the new document, completely seperate from the other window, and this window has no title bar. Therefore I cannot resize it, minimize it, drag it and move it... so its very annoying

this also happens when from the command line i do "ooffice2 afile.odt" or "ooffice2 aspreadsheet.xls", the title bar will also be missing. But if I do "ooffice2" the title bar shows up. No clues here.

Anyone else experience this or can think of a reason why this might happen? I have 3 computers running gentoo and all run fvwm, so I am not sure what oo2 is supposed to look like in kde or gnome.

i seem to have found a hint thanks to someones advice:

if i do "oowriter2 mydoc.swx", the title bar is missing
if i do "oowriter2 --widgets-set gtk mydoc.swx" my title bar shows up!

someone suggested a workaround of "export OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=gnome" in my bashrc

but what is really causing the problem?
