Thunderbird profile locked without lock file

Hi,

I transfered my thunderbird mail from my old slackware box to my new slackware box.

On my new box, I started thunderbird "for the first time" to let it create the .thunderbird directory and so on.
I modified the profiles.ini which now looks like
Quote:
[General]
StartWithLastProfile=1

[Profile0]
Name=default
IsRelative=0
Path=/data/Thunderbird/15xuim71.default
Default=1
Note : the data path is on a local partition of my new box.
However, when I start thunderbird (on my new box off course), I do get the message:
Quote:
Thunderbird cannot use the profile "default" because it is in use. Please choose another profile or create a new one".
I checked for a lock file/symlink in my (sub)directories called lock or LOCK or something like that, but it's not there.

I have done this several times before and it always worked until now. How do I solve this ?

Problem solved. The Chrome directory needed to be deleted. Now everything works.
