Thunar -- window size

Hello

How to set the window size used by Thunar?

I have a shortcut (Super+E) that runs /usr/bin/thunar /home/c. Until recently it always opened a full screen window. A failing PSU caused spontaneous reboots since when the shortcut opens ~25 screen window.

Config file for Thunar is store at /home/user/.config/Thunar/thunarrc

You can have a look at line "LastWindowMaximized=FALSE"

Otherwise, remove that file, and open a new Thunar window, it should create a new thunarrc file.

Thanks Hammett

There was no LastWindowMaximized line but there was:
Code:
LastWindowHeight=480
LastWindowWidth=640
To cut a long story short, I manually moved and stretched the small Thunar window to fill the screen, closed Thunar and reopened it. Fixed

Previously I had been using the maximise button to, er, maximise the window but this setting was not remembered by Thunar.
