The bar at the left of the screen


i see the screen shot that it has a left-bar which could display the cpu,memery,time,net,e-mail and proc info.what's the bar.how can i enable it.

You're probably talking about GKrellM. See if you don't have it installed already. If not, you can get it from: http://members.dslextreme.com/users/.../gkrellm.html.
