text copying can't do in epdfview for files why? also,how to copy text in zathura?

I use debian wheezy 7 P4 2.8ghz 2 gb ram no video card.I use xpdf epdfview for viewing pdf files.But, to select text in xpdf
2.How to select text in epdfview and copy
3.same in zathura.
4.same in mupdf.

In epdfview there is an option for selecting text.But,selection will select text and on leaving the button the selection disappears.why?

If what you want to do is copy a region of text, you can do it by selecting the region of text you want to copy. Once the region has been selected it will be copied to the buffer. You can then paste the text using the scroll wheel button on the mouse. That's usually how I do it in xpdf.
