TeamSpeak2 and Call of Duty

Hello-

SuSE 9.2 - latest updates and patches available
I have Call of Duty installed - working great
I have TeamSpeak2 - working great

I want to run both applications at the same time.

When I execute TeamSpeak from konsole, it launches fine, and everything is great. But when I launch Call of Duty I get an error saying two sounds files are missing or corrupt. If I were to just launch Call of Duty, the game launches fine (after I kill TeamSpeak).

Any Ideas? Any file I could config or something?

FYI-

I have noticed, when I have two apps running (not just teamspeak and call of duty) the sound will not work for both applications?

example - Java applet and XMMS

You'll need a sound daemon like esound or arts (as it seems you are using kde) to allow two aplications to acess the sound card at the same time ..

A little search here in LQ about arts will help you setting it up!

I am real green at this and was wondering if someone could give me step by step instructions on how to install teamspeak. I real am clueless

I downloaded the file but it did not open in yast so I didn't know how to install it. Can you give me some pointers?-- some basic this is what KDE is this is what this is this is how you install this blah blah blha... Thanks Mike
